Prince One Night Alone Live Review
The 27 tracks on One Nite Alone. Were recorded during Prince and the New Power Generation's massive One Nite Alone. Tour, and includes a mix of some of Prince's best-known hits from the '80s and early '90s alongside more recent songs like the title track of his 2001 album, The Rainbow Children. The two-disc live album was.
After enough listens I gotta say the live sets have too much jamming and not enough of the songs themselves and audience singing? Pointless. And the preachiness is annoying. It's still great but I'm stilling waiting for a truly great Prince live recording
Prince One Night Alone Tour
- Sony Legacy will release Prince‘s 2001 studio album The Rainbow Children and One Nite Alone (from 2002) on CD and vinyl at the end of next month, along with various One Nite Alone live variants. The Rainbow Children has been out of print for ages on both CD and vinyl so this is rather exciting for Prince fans.

The album included a cover of a Joni Mitchell song, “A Case of You,” which Prince would reprise on his final tour.
that is pretty much how most people thought about this set when it was first released.
it is truly a miracle that he managed to make such a bland, weird release of it, given

soundchecks were super special and unique.
yet those live discs and that aftershow that were released do the actual experience
about 0,4% justice.
the nighttown, vega or bataclan aftershows are rediculously good. so i'm lucky we at
least have very good bootlegs of those
Yep. That's thing about Prince. He always needed an editor/quality control expert and should never have been a director. I don't know why WB agreed to let him direct UTCM and GB. Prince was obviously a creative genius but woeful at overseeing his art.
